CHF500 - Children's Heart Federation - 24 hours at Silverstone, Britcar endurance racing

We were invited by clients to spend the weekend at Silverstone with full hospitality. They sponsored the Children's Heart Federation, taking part in a 24-hour race at Silverstone circuit with the Britcar series.
The food and hospitality was also fantastic with a Michelin-starred chef cooking, and a wonderful atmosphere.

'April Showers' a Market Note from Arlington & Hall

The property market can act like the weather. It doesn't really know what to do. One day it could be scorching and the next so dull. We are finding the market to be similar at the moment. It looks like there could be a Spring surge on our hands and then it stops....like a April Shower!

In this pre-general election period buyers and sellers seem to flit between wanting to do something and at the same time worrying about doing it. It is almost that they know there are so many factors in place that make buying a house desirable but there are others that could in the future weigh against such a big decision. Some may decide to not do anything at all. But that is not the answer, there are so many reasons, such as parents with young children may need to move before September for schooling reasons or rather good-schooling reasons. There are reasons to include work related movers and those whose lives have reached a stage where selling/buying is a matter of necessity rather than choice. 

It is hard to think of a period in the past seven or eight years when there has been a better time to be propelled into a sale or purchase. With low interest rates and others holding back for many, this will be a good time to make a move. You probably wont pick up a bargain. It is a hard truth, but bargains are seldom to be found in property- would you sell your home at a bargain price? - and this is particularly so at the moment where there are fewer properties on the market than for several years.

So...if you are going to buy or sell in the coming months when the weather in the property market seems fickle, as long as you take some sensible precautions - just like wearing a mac or taking a umbrella in changeable weather - there is no real reason to get wet. In fact by the time all the others come out from wherever they have been sheltering you will be home and dry.
